Appeals/System Routes
Parents and young people (if competent) can challenge their Local Authority's decision. There are a number of routes to enable challenges to be made as shown below:
Local Authority Appeal Committee Additional Support Needs Tribunial I.S.E.A. (Scotland) Advocacy for Education project is available to advise parents or young people as to the most appropriate route(s) for their particular case.
